Pink Lemonade Recipe


 

Pink Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice or a splash of grenadine for the pink color
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Make Lemon Syrup: In a medium pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. Add Cranberry Juice: Stir in the cranberry juice or grenadine to give the lemonade its pink color. Adjust the amount to achieve your desired shade of pink.

  3. Dilute: Add the cold water to the mixture, stirring until everything is well combined. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity if needed by adding more sugar or lemon juice.

  4. Chill: Refrigerate the pink lemonade for at least 30 minutes to chill.

  5. Serve: Serve over ice cubes. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
