5 Easy Pasta Recipes for Food Lovers


 

1. Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Spaghetti: Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until garlic is golden brown, about 2 minutes.
  3. Combine: Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat in the oil and garlic. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.
  4. Finish: Season with salt and stir in the chopped parsley.
  5. Serve: Top with Parmesan cheese if desired.

2. Penne Alfredo

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz (340 g) penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Penne: Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add Cheese: Stir in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder until the sauce is smooth and thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

Instructions:
